MU-055 Product Description
The MU-055 is a programmable, smart digital wall-mounted thermostat that can be controlled via a smartphone app or directly through five soft-touch icons along the bottom of the display. Its slim, tempered glass front provides a sleek, contemporary look and features built-in anti-fingerprint resistance. Wi-Fi connectivity enables convenient remote control without the need for an additional router, simplifying installation, saving time, and reducing costs. The globally recognised Smart Life plug-and-play app makes installation fast and simple. The MU-055 integrates seamlessly with smart home devices from Google and Amazon. Users can group multiple thermostats for unified control and share access with family members via the app.
A built-in energy-saving mode is accessible with a single button press, indicated by a prominent green leaf icon. This mode defaults to 16°C and offers manual or timed setback functionality, automatically reducing the set temperature at scheduled times — ideal for holiday periods or unoccupied spaces. The MU-055 can operate as a room or zone thermostat, control zone valves, manage hydronic underfloor heating, and connect to underfloor heating wiring centres. This is a feature rich product, including an icon lock to prevent misuse, and the ability to set min and max temperatures in regular use, ideal for children or vulnerable adults. The programming offers weekly planned cycles with 5 working days and 2 separate weekend choices. Each day can be set to 6 cycles of on and off. It has a highly accurate internal temperature sensor, adjustable in 0.5°C increments. An optional external sensor can be used to be used as either overheat protection, or remote sensing away from the thermostat body.
The MU-055 also features flexible 1-week programmability with 5+2, 6+1, or 7-day scheduling options, along with a manual mode for simplified operation. Temperatures are regulated with high precision (±0.5°C) using internal, external, or dual sensor configurations to ensure optimal comfort and energy efficiency. The MU-055 thermostat offers built-in overheat protection for safeguarding delicate floor coverings when used with an external floor sensor. Installation is straightforward, fitting into UK standard back boxes.
